Tonight We Dine In... Forbes?

How stunningly anti-climactic.
But here we go again! Today is the beginning of run week for "The Visit", the fall play for the academic year of 2010-2011. Party? Possibly.

The Visit, for those poor souls who don't know, is a show set in Germany. When? We don't exactly know (we're assuming it's the early to mid 1900s). But it's about Claire Zachanassian's return to her home town of Gullen. She has becoming disgustingly rich while her hometown has become... disgustingly... poor.
Long story short. They want money, she says, "yes of course... one condition"... yada yada. Her condition is to kill the father of her illegitimate child. (His denial of the case caused her to be kicked out of the town without a penny.) The town tries to deny it, but start buying everything on credit, thinking that SOMEONE will do it! No one does... things get desperate.

Come see it.

...But I just got out of rehearsal. *sigh* Rehearsing makes you tired, especially when you can't rub the tiredness off your face.

Why can't you rub tiredness off your face? I mean... you can... but you risk smudging the expertly applied STAGE MAKEUP!

I was made to look around 60. I was looking hot. Oh yea, h-o-t. But it took about 5 minutes to get off... not bad as makeup goes, but still irritating.

Anyways... gotta go to the land of sleep, do it all again tomorrow.
